We pass our Mangoblog RSS feed through Feedburner, and that content gets sent out as part of a automated RSS-to-email digest through MailChimp. MailChimp adds tracking tags to the URLs similar to how Google's URL builder adds them (http://support.google.com/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55578)

so we end up with a URL like

http://www.example.com/this-is-the-story-url?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=mailchimp

Now we are seeing some really long page load times and/or timeouts for those URLs. I think as long as minutes. It's causing some anxiety as it starts to affect our other CF applications.

Is there something about the campaign tags which is not well supported by, or could be causing the long load times by Mangoblog v1.41?

I also should have mentioned the URLs can get over 200 characters long since some of the post titles are medium long to begin with. One reason they are long is they have to be unique. Yes, we want to schedule all our Mangoblogs to be updated to the latest version but that's about a week of work which is hard to manage when you can't afford much downtime.

I wouldn't think this would cause mango to load any slower. That url string is just for tracking purposes as far as I know. It's not actually running anything on the server. If anything is causing it to slow down it is the tracking by google or other plugins like twitter.

I could be wrong here so it's worth getting more feedback.
