First off thank you for your kick butt blog application! I'm blown away by how awesome and easy to use it is!

I didn't see any posts on this but I was able to setup Mango using MS SQL 2005.

Did you manually add the datasource in the CF admin?

I am using CrystalTech shared hosting so I manually created my datasource in their control panel appp.
