Thread: Mango Still Active?

My partner and I both have used Mango on several of our blogs. However, we've been a bit concerned that their haven't been any updates to the code in awhile nor have there been any blog posts since March. Is Mango still active?

I've taken some time to reply to this because it is not an easy to question to answer.
The short answer is YES. I am committed to continuing the development of Mango.
The long answer is that you and other people USING Mango makes it be alive. The more people use it, the more plugins and themes are developed. Mango has recently become an Open CFML Foundation project, which I hope it will help making it more widely used.
From my perspective, however, I wish I could devote more time to it, but all these years, it has been a labor of love. Donations or paid projects would be nice in order for me to be able to transfer my energy to Mango from other more profitable projects.

Mango is still alive - as far as I can tell - but, some of the plugins are not.

If anyone has copies of visual 28's or altered pixel's, or other privately hosted plugins - maybe they can post them up to riaforge, github or googlecode (assuming they're open sourced, of course)?

Apart from specific bug fixes contributed by a couple of people, I've always been the only developer. :)
